Description |
EstuaryWatch monitoring was conducted in response to reports of the Anglesea Estuary being blue/green in colour. On further investigation there were also small numbers of dead fish. As well as the regular monitoring sites. Readings were taken from Salt Creek, the diversion channel and Marshy Creek. Salt Creek- pH= 3.7, Temp= 12.1, EC= 1.573mS/cm, DO= 57.2%, DO= 6.13mg/L, flow present and clear. Diversion Channel- pH= 3.8, EC=1.577mS/cm, Temp=12.5, flow present and clear. Marshy Creek- pH= 3.5, EC= 3.41 mS/cm, Temp=9.9, DO= 54.8%, DO= 6.07mg/L, fast flow, more water than salt creek, clear water. Marshy |
