Rainfall last 48 hours 38 mm. Atmospheric Pressure 1008.3 hPa. Storm surge, high tide and high rainfall all contributed to exceptional water levels, overwashed berms and dramatic scenery. It is possible that at low tide the mouth would be closed - the water depth across the mouth was quite shallow at high tide.
